This one is a Punjabi dhaba and that too in the heart of the city!! Replete with an earthy tandoor, paan wallah, pathan suit clad waiters, posters of old amitabh movies and popular bollywood numbers. Located on the terrace of Museum Inn, that's Angheti for you!! hara bara kabab and sev papdi chaat as starter are yummy to eat. My personal favourite has to be makki di roti with paneer burgee while sreenesh likes lachcha parantha with mixed vegetable gravy. all this washed down by creamy lassi and jaljeera will make for a sumptuous meal for two!!so the next time you crave for real punjabi food instead of going to the outskirts if bangalore go straight to angheti..meal for two would be anywhere between Rs 600-Rs 800. Located in museum inn,on the fourth floor.

Masala Klub-Taj West End
A beautiful place which makes you wonder if you are in the busy and polluted Bangalore city! this restaurant on the lawn is a treat of greenery and nature with beautifully lit tables and surroundings. not much of a food place but the ambiance is amazing. vegetarian combo starter has a mix of seekh kabab, paneer, mushroom and broccoli.the main course was ordinary but something i haven't had elsewhere - paneer makai(corn) burjee. A meal for two could easily lighten your wallet by 2000 bucks so reserve this place for real special occasions (hint-romantic candle light dinners) where the ambiance matters more than the food you eat!

Cafe Mocha
now this one is a cool coffee joint on one of the nicest road that makes you feel you are in goa. Mocha is not a typical coffee shop with a four paged menu. You might just go crazy deciding what to have, seriously. the gooey chocolate fudge is a must have for all the chocolate lovers, one can nibble on it for hours or just gobble it up within secs!yummy!the bun maska chai combo is my husbands fav while i choose the japanese veg roll which is saucy and nice. the kit kat shake and orio cookie shake with chocolate ice-cream makes you feel you are in chococream heaven. the maggi on the menu could be given a miss since its a weird mix of maggi noodles minus the masala(believe me) with some pasta sauce!!overall the interiors of mocha is very comfy and ideal to spend few lazy hours doing nothing. but the smoking section is a lil too smoky with the hookah full on! beverages are priced between 200-500 bucks and the food could cost you anyt ing between 50 - 400 bucks.
